Tender documents for the above tender are hereby issued to you from the Head of Chancery of High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The issued tender documents comprising of this Notice Inviting Tender, Terms & Conditions, Detailed Bill of Quantities, Layout plan, etc. are to be submitted back duly filled and signed by the tenderer as part of the Financial bid.
Tender shall be submitted as per “Terms & Conditions” forming a part of the tender document.
The tender document shall accompany the amount of Earnest Money Deposit in the form as specified in tender documents. Any tender received without earnest money shall not be considered and shall summarily be rejected.
Completed tender documents with a technical bid and financial bid in two separate sealed envelopes super-scribing the name of the work; name of the bidder and address of the tender receiving office (Head of Chancery, High Commission of India) shall be submitted at High Commission of India’s office address given in Para 1.0 before 15.00 hours on 17 June 2009. Tender duly sealed in the prescribed manner above can also be sent through Registered post/Speed Post/ Courier so as to reach at the office address given in Para 1.0 not later than the time and date of submission of tenders. Any tender received later than opening of tender/s (at High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur on 17 June 2009 at 16.00 hours) shall be rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.
High Commission of India reserves the right to postpone the tender submission/opening date and to accept/reject tenders without assigning any reasons thereof. High Commission of India’s assessment of suitability as per the documents submitted shall be final and binding.
The Technical bid should include turnover of the tenderer, projects of similar nature executed by the tenderer with project costs, and other relevant information that the tenderer would like to share as part of the Technical bid.
Tenderer may note that they are liable to be disqualified at any time during tendering process in case any information furnished by them found to be false. EMD of such tenderer shall be forfeited. The decision of the High Commission of India shall be final and binding.
The validity of the offer shall be 90 days from the date of opening of the tender.
Any additional terms and conditions will also be handed over to the tenderer at the time of signing the contract.
