General
The High Commission of India is open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The High Commission is closed on Saturday and Sunday and on public holidays (see list below). In addition to these holidays, the High Commission may close on rare occasions, under directions received from the Government of India.
Consular Services
With effect from 1 August 2007, High Commission of India has outsourced visa applications. Accordingly visa applications should be submitted at following three Visa Application Centers approved by the High Commission. [Please note that High Commission of India does not accept visa applications at its premises, except those requesting for grant of gratis visas on official and diplomatic passports.

Passport and other Consular Services
With effect from 1st June, 2011 the High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur has outsourced Passport and Other Consular Services in Malaysia to M/s VFS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Accordingly a Passport and Other Consular Services Application Centre (PCSAC) will be operated by M/s VFS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. Details of the Centre are as follows:
